IMAGES OF AUSTIN
Our trip to Austin was quick, but very successful in terms of vintage acquisistions. I found this great 70's fox coat at Feathers Boutique. Feathers is one of our favorite stops in Austin. It's right off of South Congress, in a blue painted store front, you can't miss it. Check out their
I really love it, and it was actually cold enough this particular morning to wear it. The heavy, brass toggle hardware is quite appealing, and I like how it looks so 70's.
One more view….
We stayed at
The pool…
The stairs leading up to our room…
A couple of walk ways…..
It's a great place to stay! More of Austin later……

my internet signal is weak today, so i’m not able to see the entire post. the coat looks gorgeous, though, as does that pretty hotel oasis. can’t wait to see more- internet issues notwithstanding…!
I love your style and the blog, but I bet 15+ foxes had to be brutally murdered to make that coat
At least it is vintage, but it’s still so sad to me…

many celebs stay at hotel san jose and shop that part of austin as well.
Oh! if you are ever there again, check out casa de luz for their macrobiotic breakfast/brunch. it is AH-MAZING, and addicting!!

Hi Judy, you wear that coat so well!! I love everything about this look, including your carefree hair.
As many times as I’ve been to Austin I have never been to feathers. Will have to make a point to go their next time.
I love the Hotel San Jose! It’s so cozy and inviting. The pictures are beautiful.
Have a great day! It looks like it’s going to be another wet and gloomy one.

Love that part of Austin and love the Hotel San Jose! Although, the rooms aren’t exactly soundproof. Speaking from experience…

These are great finds!
Love the coat, and the fact that it’s vintage 70s.. it’s guilt free. Those little critters would have expired anyway, of natural causes, or old age.
& I absolutely love the hotel!! So my taste.
Wearing a dead fox; how nice…
I’m a bit disappointed here :/
