SHRIMPTON COUTURE

Lusting after this beautiful piece of vintage Adolfo for weeks on the amazing site Denise and me

The sweater arrived wrapped in brown paper in a beautiful box, all wrapped in tissue.  It was a great shopping experience!

Judith%20l%20belt

Looked great too with this vintage Judith Leiber Foo dog belt.  A recent steal on E-bay.

Profile sweater

Like the Halloween decorations?  I was snapping some photos of Jane at her dad's house.  He likes to go all out for Halloween.  Poor Jane, I think she may have fallen victim to the swine flu…hoping it's just allergies.

Check out Shrimpton Couture blog too!

Oh my Judy- I love this sweater!! The length is great too- it’s one of those great fall sweaters that once you find you’ll never want to let it go :) Love the belt as well. You have such amazing taste.

That belt has such a great medieval feel to it; i love it. And with the sweater, very 70s! Reminds me of Ang Lee’s “The Ice Storm.” Simply lovely.

Oh, I hope Jane is doing well! I was just sick for two weeks and it really sucks when you have important projects in the works, like you do!
I love the cardigan, the colours are so intensive and very 70s.
My dad also has a craze for holiday decorations, although christmas is more his thing. Sometimes it gets really scary. Like last year when I was out with my friends and when I came to my dad’s at night and turned on the lights, i was shocked to see there was a big hairy man standing in the foyer. I got really scared and ran back out to the street. Only on second glance did I notice it was a life size Santa. Like a bloody Madame Tussauds wax figurine! I think my dad went a bit over board on that one…

This vintage sweater looks amazing on you…so fresh and of the moment, but yet timeless and with that nod to vintage appeal as well…so lovely. :-) The belt is very chic too…what fun to mix it up and give a whole new vibe!
