IT’S 7:00 AM, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR FRONT YARD IS?

Backhoe resized

Mine is masquerading as land fill in what used to be my driveway.  This is day three of my plumbing adventure.  Isn't home ownership fun?

My goodness! Good luck with the project! I would love a yard of my own someday, but it definitely looks like a lot of maintenance!

My goodness Judy, you have had quite a week! First snakes, then your computer & now your plumbing. Ahh yes, the challenges home ownership brings. Just take a deep breath. Atleast you’ll have good plumbing and a nice new driveway when it’s finished. :-)

    Wow, that doesn’t look good!
Just like athena said, try to take it easy and later you’ll laugh about it!

oh my…that looks serious! at least the plumbing problem is getting worked on. where i live, forget it…we wait, and wait, and…wait. our fridge has been in the shop for 2 weeks now, and all we get is “we’re workin’ on it.” island time, ugh!
hope things calm down for you soon! :)

Oh, you haven’t had a good week, have you?! I’ve experienced quite a few problems with my driveway. Our electrics are all under the driveway so when there’s a power cut, it all gets dug up! I hope your plumbing gets fixed soon!

Yikes! I went through the same thing a few years ago after arriving home from Christmas vacation. I was very happy to belong to a gym so I had someplace to go and get clean.
I hope the repairs go quickly so you can return back from the 19th century!

I’m sure you’re going to turn this into another opportunity to further beautify your home. Saw your feature in styleswoon and I have to say…swoon indeed! Your home reminds me of Delphine Groult’s furniture designs. You should check her out: http://www.delphinegroult.com
