IN NY
I'm still in NY and having a great time. I did have a devasting event. I left my computer on the airplane. I've tried desparately to get it back, but to no avail. I feel so stupid!! I know there are e-mails I haven't answered, so I apologize, I hope to get back to normal once back in Dallas. My computer case had no ID on it, and I think there would havmiss Pet Fashion Week. Did you all know there was a Pet Fashion Week? I didn't, and I'm sure glad I found out about it. Big thanks to Ines de Pablo from WagN for helping us out. Pet Fashion Week was held at the Metropolotin Pavillion. Here is a picture of Chula making her entrance in one of her designs…

I have been a long time admirer of Romy and Jacob dog clothes. So nice to meet the designer Lina, in person.
I think this was my favorite. This is accomplished with a blow pen that uses completely non toxic materials and washes out after a couple of baths.
All for now. I know I won't post again until I get back to Dallas on Tuesday, and get a new computer…till then!

FYI for the future, there is a GPS program that my daughter has on her computer that allows it to be tracked if someone who finds it (or steals it) turns it on. So sorry to hear of your loss. My hard drive needed to be replaced and I lost everything on my computer a few weeks ago because it was not backed up. I guess we learn from our experiences.

I`m not a fan of dogs wearing clothes,so I can`t say I like it too much.Excpet for those small dogs which get cold during the winter.Other than that – I love the huge modern dog bed.My Golden Retriever likes climbing up on things so that would be a definite must have for him.And the huge cupcakes – adore them!

At first I was thinking, yay puppies!! But I don’t really think its right to parade dogs around in silly outfits that they probably hate to have on and spray paint things on their fur (even if it is non-toxic).

You would just have to shoot me and put me out of my misery if I lost my computer…which is just ridiculous, isn’t it? But, I feel your pain. The Romy and Jacob clothes look great. I must check them out. I’m not one to dress up my dogs, usually they run around quite naked, but hounds do get cold in the Winter.

Really cute- I have a male dog (cocker spaniel) so we don’t get to go buck-wild with the fur ponchos and ruffle dresses but we love to dress him up in classic Americana pieces- flannel jackets, shearling vests, a yellow rubber raincoat (which he hates), etc. Only for special occasions of course

This is disturbing.
They’re animals. We are too. Make-up for both of us is not real…it’s artifice. This is becoming such a consumerism haven. It is all so far from natural (except for the snake you removed…understandably).
First, why don’t you look up how the clothes you buy are made. Tell me about the regions of this planet they come from. Tell me (anyone, of course) about the conditions of those who make your clothing. Do a beautiful story on your lifestyle and the lifestyle of the woman/man/people who made your gorgeous pieces! Then, you can extend your consumerist angle to the ‘pet world’, where dogs (they *are* dogs) are subjected to the same ideas of ‘hipness’.
Honestly. Be more responsible; that’s all. Nothing mean. Just think.
There’s a planet we live on. You seem to be into other ‘cultures’ and I say: “GO ALL THE WAY”. Learn moe beyond the cool shops in which they sell these things…there are people barely surviving and brining you the buttons on your vest.

How horrible! (about your computer, not the dogs.) I so feel for you, and like others have said, hope that somehow, some way, it was found by someone honorable and will be returned to you. Weirder things have happened.
When you & Jane were in Japan, I was so impressed by the grace that she rose above others’ bad behaviour, and didn’t even dignify it with a response. It’s clear she was raised with a brilliant role model. You mentioning the laptop, taking full responsibility for it, not making a drama of it, and THEN going ahead and posting this hilarious and fun post.. you are an inspiration.
All the shots are fab but my vote is the yorkie in the beaded dress, with the cupcake cushion coming in as a close second. Hope the rest of your time in NY is fun and drama free.
Post on these dogs are kind of overated and too fancy. Not my kind of liking.. The only one that attracts me was the Shiba Inu, looks like Snow Dogs

Those dogs are soooo cool. I have my miniature schnauzer named cooper, he would rank up with these doggies. Hated to hear that about your pc. I would not wish that on anyone.
