THE WEEKEND
I didn't do a thing this past weekend, and it was so nice just to be at home. (I did try hot yoga, that was brutal) A few photos I took…they're kind of random, not really a cohesive post, but here goes.
I've been dying to wear this 80's sequined dress I bought at a thrift store. I tried mixing it with jeans and a t-shirt so I didn't look like I was trying to be 25. I kind of liked it. Not sure if I would wear it out, but it was fun.
My Givenchy's make everything look good.
Still–not sure if this 80's dress is for me.
This is a cute photo if I don't say so myself. They posed perfectly.
Carol looking so grown up.
Me having a sno cone. Wearing cute Jelly Garcia top purchased in Tokyo.
One of my favorite pairs of MMM shoes. All for now……..

Hi Judy, 80′s dress does looks Balmain-ish but lacking of something, the ‘IT’ factor. Should improve on the sequncing patterns, i feel. And you’re right that your Givenchy shoes makes everything looks good. It’s like a preservative
Your doggies are cute & calm. i can never take a picture of my dog sitting still & i have given up taking her picture ever since
Carol looks very mature & beautiful. i love her hair color, its a bit reddish. Is that her real hair color? i love the blazer on her, perfect. Is that your Calvin Klien blazer from your Saturday post? i am deeply in love with it! Yum yum sno cone! Love it! Anyways, nice post & i really enjoy reading it. Take care.
Judy, you totally own that dress, very Balmain – definately a keeper!

Your dogs are darling.
I’ve bought 4 bras for the Mara Hoffman dress…hopefully one of them will work!
I applaud your courage to wear shorts. I’ve been too afraid of them since about my mid-20′s
Carol is so pretty.
She needs her own blog.

I love how you elongated the sleeve by wearing layers, the jeans is also a perfect casual touch.
I don’t think you should toss it by any means. This is probably one of my favorite outfits I have seen on your blog, & I really feel this coordination was flawless.
I’m 24 & you make ME feel terrible (in the most positive manner).

veeeeery beautiful blog, and pretty woma:-) i love it!!
Loving the 80′s dress, you can pull it off without trying to look 25. It sounds like you had an amazing weekend.
The vintage sequin dress as top is amazing. And yes, Givenchys elevate any look… I’m lusting after the bling now. But worn kind of slouchy; cuffed jeans are a good pairing.

if you still feel “nervous” about wearing it out- how about making it into a cool beaded jacket?
I think you look really goos in that 80s dress..you should take it out for a little walk
Carol looks so grown up! You should be a proud mama!

Hello, I was wondering if you could tell us who designed the necklace Carol is wearing in this post?
Thanks!
Carol needs to start a blog to! I love her look , I love the 80ies dress on you . Would keep it !
I like the Jelly Garcia top!
Looking at those Margielas makes me so sad…I had the same pair, and wore them so much that leather between the heel and toe part almost completely broke down. Sadly I think they’re beyond repair, but they were the most comfortable MMM’s I’ve ever owned. Sigh.
Hi,
Nice blog =)
Loved scanning it!
You can definitely pull off that dress and look fab! I say keep it!! It’s all about how you carry the outfit : )
