On The Street
Out and about yet again. There is so much to see…..Lots of you have asked if I speak japanese–a little. Enough to get around town. I should speak more after living here for 2 years, but it is a difficult language!
I found my old apartment building in Roppongi. Awwww—this brings back memories, I can't believe it's still there!
This just struck me as funny…..One of my favorite restaurants back in the day…Chianti. Doesn't every large city have a restaurant named Chianti?
Finally, for
Jill, I think this dog is waiting to be discovered! Maybe I could bring him home for Dolce?

moshi, moshi, judy!
beautiful photos of stylish japanese.
it feels so good to bring back the old memories.
What a beautiful dog. Italian greyhound or little whippet?! It looks like your having a terrific time, but whats strange is that I miss you! A virtual/email friend and your across the World instead of in the same state…it makes a difference somehow. Stay safe. I’m glad it looks like the clouds have parted a bit.
Nihonggo is deceptively difficult. Francais might even be easier.
The print on the backpack above is hypnotic.
love…..

Oh, I totally love the fourth pic with the two girls chatting!
They seem to have just popped out of some manga or anime…
Adorable!
i can’t wait to make my trip out to japan!! i hope sometime soon..lol.
I love any dog in the grayhound family. They are the fastest runners and the deepest sleepers.
Don’t feel bad about not knowing Japanese! My friend was over there teaching for a few years, and she said that in her study of the language she basically had to decide whether writing or speaking. She chose to study spoken Japanese, and there was still so much to know.
I’m loving your pictures from Japan, by the way.
Judy keep em coming!! thank you for letting us experience Japan through your beautiful pictures..=)

It’s SO amazing that you can show ur daughter your old apartment and go down memory lane with her. My mom is from New Orleans and I got to go with her last year to see her old place and all the places she worked-where she met my dad–It was so wonderful and made us friends. I loved every minute of it!
AND I love that restaurant name-Chianti! Very ‘Silence of the Lambs’!!!
Sounds like you’re having fun! I love the 1st and 2nd pics.
