Adam Wallacavage

Knowing my love of all things octopi, one of my readers alerted me to the work of Adam Wallacavage.  Thanks to Elisa Leone of Argus-Bottom-View_72dpi

I asked Adam a little about his work via e-mail:

How are the pieces made?
I sculpt them in clay, then make molds and then cast the tentacles in plaster.

And why Octopi or such a sea theme?

I just like using the tentacle form because there is so much I can do with it. When I think up what I want to do next, I'll do it. I want the inspiration to come to me naturally so I try not to think to hard about what I want to do next.

One of these Chandeliers or Candelabras is definitely on my wish list…And, Adam does custom work too!
