Digging in my Attic–Finding Studs…..
I'm loving all the studding that's been on the runway last few seasons–
Still love this Givenchy leather jacket..
And this Balmain jacket….

These two vest from Balmain are great too….I'm so happy to see studs again. I had so many great studded things in the 80's, but sadly, I donated most of them to the Goodwill. Rummaging around in my attic, I did find my stash of 80's studded belts. I had quite a few…I wore one the other day, but here is a photo of some of them…
It's definitely time again for 80's type statement belts. I loved this belt from Balmain Fall 09.
Such a great "tough" but feminine look.

usu balmain doesnt do anything for me, but here and there i see something i like. i like those studded vest and white jacket.
i loved when givenchy did that studded collection, i bought a belt from bcbg in that style, that i love love love. i also consider it my darth vader belt so it makes me love it even more.

I remember selling those exact belts back when I worked retail in the East Village in the 80′s! They were hot then, and they still are. I have seller’s regret, when I had a vintage business I sold so much stuff… one thing I still flip out about is a snakeskin mini trench from the 70′s, it was truly a piece to drool over. Why oh why did I part with that and keep less exotic pieces?? Love your blog!
