Ann D.

Ann

I got the Ann D. spring boot.  It really is spring version of the Fall 08 tall lace up boot.    This is not my foot. The photo was sent to me from Barney's.  I'll show mine off soon.  I think they're great!

On a side note, I do try to answer most of the questions left in comments (usually in a private e-mail sent to the commenter) l but I don't get to all of them.  If you feel something has gone unanswered, please do send me an e-mail!

These are lovely shoes. I picked up a pair myself. Judy, can you tell me the name of the rug you cut up for your chairs. Ikea has several online that look similar and I want to make sure to get the right one. You can email me or just post here. Thanks so much!

To C–I didn’t purchase my lamb throws on line, so I’m not sure–but really, any lamb throws will work. I like IKEA because they have the best price. I’m going to take a guess and tell you to get the cheapest ones, because that’s what I purchased and they were still too big, and had to be cut in half. If I remember correctly, one of their smallest throws covered two chairs–hope that helps. Judy

Judy, do you find that you need to go up a size in Ann D.? I’m ordering online so just wondering if the label tends to run small.
    Thanks!

For Fiona: I do not order up with Ann D. I’m a size 10, and a 10 fits me perfectly in Ann D.

    Hi Judy.
Your new interiors look awesome btw!!!
these ann demeulemeester booties are truly 2die4.
i received them also on monday from saks.
browsnfashion told me they seem to run on the small side so i was a little bit curious when they arrived from saks … i ordered them in 41 and i´m a size 40.5.
but the size 41 fine for me and i was happy that i did not order them in a smaller size!
and… THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE and for me one of the hottest shoes this summer (also got my balmain studded heels and these are simply so uncomfortable ;) )
    have a joyful weekend!

actually designers are really getting creative with the boots nowadays, i think they think we are in for a warmer winter because they all don’t look that warm, e.g yves saint laurent “cage boot.” anyway i live in australia so we have warmer winter than others anyway :) . personally im not that big a fan of the ann demeulmeesters, but i think they are kinda of a shoe i’ll grow to love while others fall, romeo and juliet style.
