Dining Room
I took a quick pic of the dining room this morning. The painting is finished and now the beams are being attached to the ceiling. I'll post that later…..

Click this photo to enlarge.

Townsend has had enough…can you tell by the expression on his face? It's hard being the man of the house.

I love love love your dining room, it’s so fab. The idea of putting the fur throws over the starck/kartell chairs, gorgeous!
I love the color combination. Very beautiful, open and clean.
What an expression Townsend has, he must have cute personality.
the new colour looks much warmer and the furniture are more accented compared to the stark white! love it!
Love the chandelier, and the fur on the chairs really softens the look and makes it yours. Good luck with the rest of the renovation!

I love it all, you have a divine style and it is such a unique mix of everything wonderful. I love the chandelier as well and I just went on the design with in reach site it is still a bit too much for me. I have to ask you during your search for this lighting did you come across anything similar with a slightly lesser price tag.
I’ve been lusting after that chandelier for seriously like YEARS, I saw it in some catalog that I now can’t remember ages ago and I’ve never forgotten it.
the wool on the chairs is brilliant, I love your taste, so inspirational
Beautiful! I love that you include pics of your dogs
I absolutely love what you are doing with your home! All of it! The paint, the wall texture, the blackboard, the cupboard, the ghost chairs, the lambswool, the table! It’s all fabulous!! I’m seriously swooning over here.
Can’t wait to see more
Your one dog matches the lambswool and that made me giggle.
Townsend is such a cutie!
Just in case the decor isn’t enough, your canine brood does me in.
Ugh.. LOVE this!
We need to call Vogue Australia to do a special feature on your home!
Your dogs are so adorable! How many do you have?
And your home is so pleasing to the eyes.
I’ve said this before but I have most of your personal home photos in my ref file for when I redecorate. It’s prefect. I love every little detail.

Where did you find the fur for the chairs from??? It’s so simple yet so nice. Do you plan to do anything with your floors or leave the slab? I have the same chairs around my dining table. Theyre tres chic! Do you answer posters questions?! Thanks, Cat

Hi! I really love your blog and I’m about to start my own about interior and architecture general, I was wondering, how could I make it more popular and get more readers?
Thank you, if you should bother responding!
Merilin from Rome.
ANSWERS–Townsend is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. The fur covers for my ghost chairs can be easily purchased at IKEA. Cut with ordinary scissors to whatever size you want. I have 4 dogs. My mantle was found years ago at a flea market, and it just happened to fit perfectly. My floors are epoxied concrete. (so easy) I hope that answers most everything. thanks for all the kind comments and for reading my blog…judy
This kind of a random question… I want to get the same arm chairs to go with a table from cb2, but I am worried about the spacing. How long is your table? Do you feel that have 3 chairs on each side of the table to spacious enough for guests? Thanks and your dining room is amazing!!!
