70′s Style
First of all–thanks for all the comments and critiques of my new room. I loved some of the ideas you guys had. Love the exposed beam idea, however, I have solar tubes in the living room! (left over relic of the 70's–so appropriate that I'm posting a 70's style home) I am putting exposed beams in the dining room, and I will post some of that hopefully this week. Thanks again!!
Here is a great 70's home with authentic 70's furniture as well. I have always loved this style. It looks so glam/California. I believe this house is actually in New England.

This is so glamourous! I picture James Coburn pouring himself a drink. Definitely a masculine home.

Hey Judy,
a question: I couldn’t help but wondering. How do you justify spoiling your girls so? Don’t you worry it will affect their priorities and identities for the worst? in such tough times I find this so troubling. and $1000 shoes as a norm is pretty necessary, wouldn’t you say?
looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
he is fabulous and he looks a lot like my father.
Masculine house, but i will not say to no to stay there! lol! I think that it’s very pure. Sometimes even a woman needs to be in a simple place…
i have this issue and absolutely love this house!! i love dark, masculine homes…
