FAVORITE THINGS
Just a few snapshots of my favorite things.
A stack of faded 501's.
Sparkly, beaded cardigans. The top and bottom are vintage, and the middle on is from Anthropologie.
Lace dresses belonging to my girls. The first two, and last are Betsey Johnson, Carol's favorite, and the third one is vintage.
Fun colored vintage fur found at local thrift stores.
Lace scarves purchased in Tokyo. I love both of these. Hope everyone is staying cool!

i love the lace.x
I love the Betsey Johnson dresses!
Great close ups – I like taking photos of fabric details too. Those vintage lace dresses look particularly gorgeous, actually, all the lace things look lovely!
Great colored furs too. I saw an electric blue faux fur stole at a charity shop the other day, I was so disappointed they weren’t selling it!

This does look like a potential DIY. I wish you could see the actual lace close up–it’s so amazing, and really looks antique. I wonder where in the world they find this!!

Lace is always awesome. Love the lace scraves and want to see them on your outfit, particalarly the floral print one.
I have been a fan from the beginning. There is something I have always wanted to ask you…where and how do you store all of your “collections”?

How do you clean your vintage beaded sweaters? Hand wash? Specialty dry cleaners? I have a vintage beaded wool sweater that is lined with silk, and I am scared to do anything with it. Thanks, Betty.
Susan,
I have an extra closet in my garage, then the new closets we just built–that’s really it–storage is always a big problem for me!
Betty–I send my vintage beaded sweaters to the cleaners–it would be much nicer to hand wash, but I would worry about shrinkage.
Beautiful things!
