THRIFTY
I’m stressed this week. Not sure why. Maybe it’s the cold weather and snow or the upcoming trips to Vegas and NY. Whatever the reason, when I’m stressed, I love to go to the thrift store. The Salvation Army is my favorite. There is something so relaxing about staring at piles of discarded junk–and always in the piles of junk is a treasure waiting to be unearthed. Just look at the goodies I found this week alone!! Brass bangles….
A plate full of bunnies…
A pair of oriental inspired mirrors. I love these!!
Tiny silver goblets…..
Cute brass heart shaped box for holding jewelry. Kind of obsessed with brass lately.
Great finds right? I think I should make thrift store finds a regular feature!!

You must make thriftstore finds a regular feature! You have a knack for this, for sure. Love those bangles and the mirrors. Gorgeous!
Great picks! I’d love a regular feature of your thrift store finds. That heart box is neat. I’ve got hearts on the brain the past couple of days thanks to V-day.
I love those bunnies!!! I just found the cutest owl piggy bank at a thrift store this week!

Your silver goblets have the exact same stem design of my candlesticks that I have decided to sell in my family’s upcoming estate sale. You have now made me question my decision. DRAT! I’ve been purging for 5 years while restoring my small home, and candles are one of those fads that I’ve grown out of.
Thrifty Finds Feature = YES VOTE from me!
I’m addicted to thrifting and can’t get enough.

Judy, you found such great treasures. As a fellow “thrift-when-I’m-stressed” thrifter, I would love to see a weekly thrift feature here. Or a semi-regular thrift post (because I don’t want to add the pressure of “every Friday”?) Also, while we’re at it… I would love to see more “what I’m wearing” posts. For women over 40, the pickin’s are very slim as far as fashion inspiration, and you are one of the most inspiring fashionable women out there.
Just thought I’d ask.
Love thrift finds! They’re my favorite.
I love the brass bunnies! and the tiny goblets
I would love to see you do a regular feature on your finds! These are great. I especially have a soft spot for those rabbits.
I’ve found many surprising things at my local Salvation Army over the years. My favorite: an oversized Charles Jourdan patent leather clutch, for $15! : )
