A Couple of Things

Carol2

You guys were so sweet to worry about  Carol not going on the Tokyo trip.  Jane and I really wanted her to go, however, she is going to Paris with her dad and cousin.  I'm sure they're going to have a great time.  Carol and I get our alone time together in the summer when their dad takes Jane to Mexico.  We usually skip that trip and have a real nice time home alone.

Another thing–yesterday my hits were up like 1000%, and I know there were a lot of new readers.  I could not tell where the hits were coming from.  If you are a new reader, would you mine dropping me a quick note to let me know where I was linked?  I would greatly appreciate it.

Lastly–Jane is in Teen Vogue this month.  It just hit the stands, so if you get a chance, have a look.  It's a very nice article on Teen Bloggers.  I know she'll be featuring the article on her blog soon.

hi judy! have you tried google analytics, which helps you track all of your traffic? where they are referred from, where they are going from your site, etc? very helpful.

Your daughter had a link to your blog under her post on the 28th. Hope this helps. And I think it’s great you’re doing this b/c I love the mix of posts on both the home and fashion. My home is done completely in neutrals b/c I find it hard to commit to color so I loved seeing your home!

    Hi Judy,
    Awesome blog.
I totally recommend http://www.statcounter.com/ to track your visitors. It gives you a break down of each visitor, where they came from, how long they stayed, what links they used to click out of your blog.
The set up is easy and it’s free.
    Take care.

Hi Judy, I found your blog through Jane’s blog, too. I also got the e-mail from UO’s featuring Jane. I think it’s nice to have someone like you blogging and to get your style perspective. It seems most blog authors are quite young. I’m 43, and while a devoted reader of the other young bloggers like Jane’s, I often wonder if I’m the only one my age reading or blogging about stuff like this! I love it, keep it coming!

BOTH of your blogs are my absolute favorite blogs!! I always check them. Your house and the houses you post are soooo amazing, and when I’m older I want to decorate them similar to the editorials.

I found you through Jane’s blog, but I have to say I’ve definitely come to love your blog all on it’s own. You are very inspiring and it’s great to see a blog (particularly one that is geared toward fashion and interior design and from someone who isn’t afraid to post pictures of themselves!) by a more mature woman. It’s great to know fashion and your love of it doesn’t go by the wayside after you have kids (I’m 25 by the way)! From my parents example, and those of the adults around me, I have very little proof of this. My family find my love of fashion very baffling!
Glad to hear you are coming to Tokyo, I live there so maybe we’ll pass each other on the street :)

    Hello Jane,
You’ve created a wonderful blog and a lovely stream of inspirations. I found Atlantis Home through Sea of Shoes, which I found through Refinery 29 – a fine chain of discoveries!
I agree with you completely on the supremacy of Skona Hem. My Swedish great aunt is visiting me from Kalmar today, and at 91 years old, she thinks SH’s the best magazine for keeping abreast of the best in interior design.
Thanks again for the wonderful imagery and thoughts!
