VINTAGE BROCADE JACKET
Wearing a vintage brocade jacket I found a couple of years ago at a thrift store. I love the soft colors of this jacket.
Oversized frog brooch by Hanna Bernhard.
The muted colors of these Dries van Noten sandals picked up the colors in the jacket perfectly. Actually, these shoes go with almost everything. I love finding an odd colored shoe that ends up becoming a basic in your wardrobe–these shoes fall into that category.
Also wearing my standby Hysteric Glamour jeans.
Enjoy the last little bit of the weekend, and I hope everyone is staying cool!

The buttons are especially beautiful. I like the way you wear jackets/coats with jeans.
Are those jeans stretch free??? I really don’t like stretch in jeans. Denim is what makes jeans jeans!!!!!!!!
this jacket is incredible, what an amazing find!

The oriental theme is getting very popular nowadays. The jacket really looks great on you, especially with the Hanna Bernhard brooch which adds a bit more character that is atlantis home. Casual but grand.
the whole outfit is fabulous on you!

Such a beautiful jacket, it looks great on you! Love the colors of the sandals, too.

i love the length of the jacket, almost kimono-like; while the colors are muted and understated, the cut gives it such a strong presence.
and those shoes do indeed look absolutely perfect; they are not traditional neutral or classic shoes, but i can easily see how they can be paired with many outfits.

That Hanna Bernhard frog pin PERFECTLY brings out the green in the jacket! You look amazing!

The jeans are 100% cotton. So hard to find these days–right? I bought them in Tokyo years ago. Jane and I are always on the lookout for 100% cotton jeans.
Hi Judy!!! I´m glad that you are back with your wonderful outfits. I can´t believe that you found that great jacket in a thrift store… What a find!!! I love the mixture between the oriental look of the jacket, the brooch and the modern jeans and shoes. I have a pair of sandals in red, black, fuchsia and orange and they go with many things, in spite of the fact that they have such a mixture of colours!
