SERIOUSLY GOOD FOOD AND PHOTOGRAPHY

I’ve taken a little time off this week to get Carol off to Wales, so in the meantime, please enjoy Sara’s blog, Sprouted Kitchen, for some great recipes, and inspiring photography.  I can spend hours looking at her photos.  Looking forward to trying a few of her recipes when the weather cools down–it’s still so hot here!

Here is a picture of my new haircut–still trying to get used to it.  Already decided I will grow it back out.

Your hair looks cute, but I totally understand your wanting to grow it out. I went through the same thing. I have decided that medium length looks best on me, even though I always want really long hair.

Wow! Your hair is amazing. You said weeks ago that you already knew you’d be growing it back, and so I was expecting something rather awful. In reality, it’s dynamite and super flattering! YOUR EYES POP! I would reconsider growing it out, Miss Judy. It’s very fresh, and frames your face more than before. Maybe a teeny bit longer, but any more and it seems to pull your face down and hide your fabulous bone structure, ‘ya know?

Judy, are you wearing more eye makeup after the haircut than usual? Maybe that’s why it looks like you look younger/edgier? When I went from waist length to army buzz (pregnancy hormones made me do it) I tended to put a LOT more eye makeup to take attention away from my crazy haircut (and to look a little more like a woman and not a boy). Although I still like your haircut, you look fabulous, I think your current haircut is so flattering to your face.

My God, these pictures make me feel very hungry Judy… I adore your new hair-cut.! Don´t let it grow! I actually hope that Carol is feeling great in Wales.

What wonderful photos. This is my first visit to your blog, so I took sometime to browse through your earlier entries. I’m so glad I did that. You’ve created a wonderful spot for your readers to visit and I really enjoyed the time I spent here. I’ll definitely be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings…Mary

If you’re drooling over food photography at Sprouted Kitchen, may I kindly suggest Lemon Fire Brigade (http://lemonfirebrigade.com/)- the photos are amazing, they seem to channel a similar vibe and aesthetic as the ones you posted here in this post, and I happen to know that the girl behind the photos is one of the most stylish, coolest chicks on the planet. No joke. Highly recommended from this corner of the internet to yours. Enjoy!
