MY NEW PLACE
Happy Friday everyone. I apologize for being absent for so long. Jane and I are both moving into our new homes, and I leased my present house to a very sweet young couple from Chicago. I have to get all of my belongings out of my house, so this has left me little time for anything else. Questioning my sanity right now in terms of how much stuff I have accumulated.
Here is peek at my new place. All of the beautiful iron work is original 1968. It’s the cutest little house, and I can’t wait to share more pictures of it with you all.
That’s it for now–I hope everyone has a great weekend ahead!!
Karen has made some beautiful one of kind pieces of jewelry–they’re on the site. Have a look here.

LOVE THE IRON WORK! I am so excited for you and Jane. How fun to have a new place and such a great blank canvas to start with!
Wow, it is so beautiful! I’m dying to see how you’ll decorate it!
Congratulations Judy! Good luck with the packing. That ironwork is fantastic.
I can’t wait for the future pictures! I’m into house voyeurism, and you have such fun, original, and eclectic tastes. I really do hope you will continue sharing the whole process with us.

The iron work is stunning…! If you ever consider murals for those walls – would be fun to come up with trompe l’oeil artwork to compliment that railing!
Congratulations – looks like a great place.

This looks so wonderful! It reminds me of the house I grew up in in the late 60s (but more Spanish style). A request: I would not only love to see how you transform it, but also the style influences/resources you use to do so (books, magazines, websites, etc.). I’ve been so inspired by your previous design work, and I’m looking to tackle my own soon. (You’ll probably post these anyway
). Also excited to see how Jane’s new place evolves, too.
Thanks!
Love the iron work. Wish you the best in the new house. Love to read your blog and your dauther’s blog.
This is breathtaking! I love how airy it is. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Judy, best wishes for your new home and I look forward to seeing your creativity bring it all together! Post pics along the way please! Xo!

Hi Judy! Love your new place! Did you end up in the Dallas area? We have been “stalking” houses in the “bubble” area to move into in that area. We want something with architectural style like yours! Our house is on the market now and are looking to move south in htat area. Look forward to seeing your new place as it fills up and what you do with it! Congrats!!!
