A FEW PICTURES FROM MY NEW PLACE
I’m still busy unpacking boxes, trying to get my washer and dryer hooked up, and get Internet connection–but here are a few shots from inside my new home. I never, ever want to move again!
I found the most amazing 70′s faux malachite coffee table at Again and Again in Dallas.
I’m sure the living room looks familiar.
I’m very fond of this paper mache tiger–his face is so great.

This is actually my bedroom–it’s really quite large. The sofa is another great find from Again and Again.
Another view of the dining room.
Always room for a shoe shot. I hope to be connected the world again soon–till then, it’s back to my boxes….

I’m intrigued with the chandelier. Is it tiers of printed cloth? Or tin/metal? If you ever feel discouraged, just go into your living room and look at all you have accomplished.
Thank you Patsy Ann–you’re so kind!! The chandelier is a 1958 tom Green brutalist piece. It is made of brass–judy
It’s hard to believe you just moved in! The place looks incredible….like someone has lived in it for decades. Can’t wait to see more photos but WOW is all I can say!
Thank you Lindsay–I’ve had a lot of help!!
Looks like you’re coming along very nicely. I adore the colors of your new sofa and dining room chairs, and the chandelier is stunning. I might hang it a little lower, myself to really show it off
Kym–lowering it is on the punch list–I totally agree!
The lamps, the love seat, and the coffee table! Oh my! Super wow! Can’t wait to see more.
I cannot tell if that’s a chandelier or a painting on the wall, so surreal and unusual. As always you are impeccable when it comes to interior decorating. You have a way of making the strangest things look incredibly elegant.
Dream house!!! I still have the article from the norwegian Elle in my mind
and this should qualify for a new article
it’s gorgeous, love the papier maché tiger !
maybe too modern for me but really cosy and elegant at the same time !!
I want to see your closet!!!!!!!!! It would be fun to see a video of you taking us through your house.
Your progress is amazing!! I can’t believe you just moved in!! Everything that you’ve shown is gorgeous so far! And what a gorgeous couch from Again and Again!

Moving is truly horrible. I hope your unpacking ends soon!
Did you have the chairs and sofa reupholstered to match, or did you purchase them like that???
Linda,
I found them as is–the fabric is original 1972. Wish I could find a stash of it!!
The chandelier is the most beautiful thing!!
Your place is already looking fantastic – things seem to moving at a good pace under the watchful eye of the paper mache tiger! Love his face
Thank you for sharing this! The new place looks unbelievable – everything came together so quickly! I adore that deer you have. Any leads on where to find large brass sculptures like that?
Emille,
I have found most of my great vintage brass pieces on Ebay–also, I have found great pieces at local antique malls. Best of luck in your hunting!! Judy

Judy… I was totally excited to see that you snagged the green sofa and dining chairs from Leslie’s! I had seen them posted on Facebook a couple weeks ago and absolutely fell in LOVE with them. Then Leslie told me they had been snatched up. Glad it was you who got them!
I’m loving your place, by the way! Can’t wait to see more of it.

Hanh,
I absolutely adore the chandelier. Where did you get it?
The chandelier is Tom Green–I had it shipped from San Francisco.
