BACKYARD PATIO
I've been doing some work on my backyard this week. When I first moved in, it was pretty uninhabitable. Completely run over with weeds, and no place to get away from the harsh Texas sun. I actually started the process years ago–it's taken some time to make it manageable….
I'm waiting for two new outdoor sofas to be delivered today. I'll take more pictures then. The chairs shown are dipped in rubber so they can stay outdoors. I replaced the brick with pea gravel…..
So much nicer!!!
I will snap some more pictures this evening…..
There are new necklaces and belts on the site. Click here…

I don’t know what this backyard looked like before, but you’ve made it so beautiful now!
It’s so zen. I can just imagine you and your family sitting in the new sofas reading books and updating the blogs with the dogs resting beside.
Looks lovely! The weather over here in Amsterdam is picking up so, I’m completely feeling the garden mood you’re in right now.

Great stuff!
Excelent the use of gravel instead of “impermeabilizing” the ground/soil with bricks (and cement?)! Now you’ll allow water to infiltrate the soil as it naturally shoul do.
Congrats for the eco-caring patio!
