JEWELRY ORPHANS
Karen and I have been busy for days going through all of the jewelry and belts–both new and old. There are a few pieces that have either been on the site, or attended jewelry shows–and for whatever reason, they never sold. We call these the jewelry orphans. We do have sales on the site, but there are always a few pieces that warrant being adopted as opposed to being marked down—see photo below:
I piled them on all at once….
I cannot believe this gorgeous Streets Ahead belt from the 80's has never sold. I think it's mine now!!
Also–this crazy piece of Nettie Rosenstein. I'm so happy it didn't sell–I secretly wanted it. Look closely and you can see the monkey face has the tiniest rhinestone eyebrows–I love that kind of detail.
This past Friday, I went to V.O.D. to drop of some pieces of Hanna Bernhard.
I wore my Ann D.'s from this spring…..
I love them as much as the ones from last year….

They are all so great, I can’t believe they didnt sell either. I think somethings are just waiting to for their destiny to come along!

gorgeous pieces–sometimes people need a “show and tell” to really “see” how things can be worn. I would bet that if you put those pieces back on–they would sell in a snap

I love the outfits in both pics. the gray tank and sweater with all the gold. And the shirt is great too. Where is the shirt from? Love love the Ann D shoes. Unfortunately my finances force me to choose between shoes and jewelry. Shoes always win. Maybe considering my mature age I should make a switch?
The bag is Celine–and the sunglasses are YSL from several years ago.
