KITCHEN INSPIRATION
Carol found these great kitchen pictures on line over the weekend. I'm never very good at finding images on line. Still deciding about my own kitchen, but one thing for sure—-definitely painting my cabinets white. Right now they're kind of a yucky pine color. Todd came by this morning, and thought we might be able to put glass fronts in them. That might be nice. I'll take inspiration from these pictures for now.
I really love these double sinks–not a possibility in my home, but…..
I like the tile on the backsplash.
I love this.
These types of stoves intimidate me.

i love a white kitchen. the tile back splash is classic, old yet quite contemporary- not to mention easy to clean.
i once had this massive kitchen i remodeled in pale maple, white, and pops of cobalt blue. it was heavenly!

omg..how amazing are aga stoves….i just die over them but sadly could never afford one!!
My kitchen is that yucky pine color too…I am looking for an affordable way to update as well, and was thinking white too…can’t wait to see how the update goes.

The La Cornue stove comes in a great eggplant color. But…they intimidate me too.

I adore all of those. My sister just renovated her kitchen and used that same white cabinets, white marble and white subway tiles. I love that look.

Oh they are all beautiful. Most remind me of a French countryside chateau, with the illustrious daylight. I never fail to get really excited whenever I see houses or designs I like. I love the ikea catalogue – it’s like christmas shopping, more so than browsing net-a-porter or ebay. The kitchen is the most story-telling room in the house, for me. It symbolises memories, big events, midnight snacks, and of course good food.
Hope you have a great time designing your new kitchen, I know it will be delicious

I LOVE the white subway tile backsplash! I had it in my last house and everyone tried to convince me not to do it because it may be too much upkeep… but I insisted and I loved how crisp and bright it made the kitchen look!! no regrets.
