FROM AUSTIN: STONE TEXTILES

I’m so pleased to introduce you to Stone Textiles from Austin Texas.  Founder, Elizabeth Mollen recently sent me some table top items from her burgeoning collection.  I really like all of the products, and I love to support a local company!

These napkins are perfection.

Love the chargers featured below.

Please visit their site at Stone Textiles.

STARS

Love these Dolce and Gabbana shoes.  I love anything with stars……

Can’t resist posting a cute picture of Kim.  She is really adapting to life in the city.

Karen has been adding a few new things to the site everyday.  Have a look.

VINTAGE CHANEL TRENCH

Finally we got a little break from the constant downpour we’ve had this past week and actually saw the sun shine.

Pictures of Townsend and me walking in my new neighborhood.  It’s so quiet and charming, I just love living here.

I don’t own a lot of Chanel, but this trench coat is probably the piece of Chanel that gets worn the most.  A lucky find at a consignment shop.

Townsend loves being a city dog.  He was made for this life.  I love his big bear paws…..

Worn with older Prada pumps, AG cropped jeans, and a vintage scarf.

Happy Monday!

DOODLING……

It’s been rainy and freezing cold here most of the week.  No end in sight to the rain, so I’m sitting here at my desk doodling.  This is my block washing away.  Hopeful that we get at least a short break so Jane and I can do some shooting. We’re both so frustrated!  Tomorrow looks promising……

SAY HELLO TO CAROL

Carol is on spring break with her dad.  They are traveling though Germany, and made a detour to the Czech Republic to see Prague.  Here is Carol on the square–so beautiful.  I hope I have a chance to visit one day, I’ve heard nothing but wonderful stories about Prague.

LIFE IS NORMAL AGAIN

Finally things are returning to normal after the move.  It’s a new normal for me.  This is the first time I have lived alone in more than twenty years.  I see Jane most everyday for work, and I’ll be so happy when Carol is home for summer.  I’m adapting, but I can tell you I’m very thankful for my dogs right now!

Sitting on my back patio wearing a vintage dress that was found at the Salvation Army years ago, and tourist sandals picked up on my trip to Morocco.  I love how vibrant the blue is in this dress.

Kim loves to sunbathe on the patio.

Giant Barracuda pin from Hanna Bernhard–why not??  Have great weekend everyone!!

SHOES

I’m going to have to make several passes at my shoe collection to make them all fit into my much smaller shoe closet.  The first round is up on the site–go have a look here!

CURRENT SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

I’m a huge fan of the entire Fresh skin care line.  I use all of their products and love them.  One not shown here that is my favorite, is their soy face cleanser.  I just happen to be out of it right now.  The Creme Ancienne is great too.   I also love all of their eye creams.

My new house is 2 minutes from Whole Foods grocery store, so I’ve been trying a few of their organic lines with much success.  I love the Weleda skin food, and Weleda almond face cream.

Jane and I are both loving the Andalou line.  I’m using the Meyer Lemon creamy cleanser and really like it.

If you all are using any great anti-aging products, please share in the comment section!

Here is Shelly getting settled in her new office.  I need to find her a cute small dog bed for under the table, and get her an appointment with the groomer!

JANE’S PLACE

Here are a couple of pictures of Jane’s new place.  Today was the first day I could actually sit at my desk and work, and not feel guilty about not moving.  I think the move is almost done.  Just need to get a few more things.

Have a great weekend!!

This is me right now at my new house….

I’m imagining my garage at my old house looks something like this.  I haven’t been in a few days.  Never moving again!!   I’ll be back soon.
